Good day! Or, as the case may be for me as I write this, good night! But you will likely read this at some point during the day so, good day!
You may or may not have noticed a slight change in the appearance of my blog. If you did, I hope you like it. If you didn’t, you probably need to have your eyes checked, you may be going blind.
So, from this change that you may or may not have noticed (you probably noticed, just sayin’) you’ve probably assumed that the CSS Upgrade is no longer available for purchase by Paypal only, and in this assumption, you are correct!
I am excited! Are you excited? Because I’m EXCITED!
Anyways.
Just thought I’d drop in and give you a heads up so you don’t FREAK OUT when you notice the change. Calm down, deep breaths, the world isn’t ending, the sky hasn’t fallen, it’s just a minor change, don’t panic.
I probably wont be dropping by to write a blog for the rest of the month, as you may or may not know I’m doing this thing called National Novel Writing Month, alias: NaNoWriMo. Basically, I’m writing a 50,000+ word novel by the end of November. So I’m a bit busy and unable to blog.
Hope you don’t miss me too much while I’m gone!

Oh, and this photo is for Isaac, as he wanted to see a picture of Techno.

Goodbye! (said in old email voice).

Today is one of those days that was just good, to the point that I want to sit down and write about it. Problem is, when I do this, I realize that I did so little that was interesting that it wont really make a good topic to blog about. Nevertheless, I am going to try and blog about it, in all its uneventful glory.
So I slept in till almost eleven, then I got up, and casually got ready in my own time to go out shopping with Mom and Stephanie. Normally I’m the last one ready and Stephanie is hollering at me to hurry up, but today I was ready to go before everyone else, which was a surprisingly good feeling. Also, I saw Gustav and Pippin outside, laying in a patch of sunshine together (which was adorable), and it always makes me happy to see Pip, it’s good to know he’s survived another day.
For lunch I had a cheese stick and a few sun chips, then at around twelve thirty we left the house, intending to go to Kohls and afterwards, Target.
At Kohls I mostly hung around Stephanie, as around this time of year they don’t have many shirts I like, the style I wear is around more during Spring/Summer. They did have a couple cute sweater dresses though, which I would have considered trying on if I thought they would look good on me, which I didn’t. So instead I got a cute pair of plaid pajama pants and a couple plain white shirts, all of which I’ve been in need of lately.
Then we went to Target where I bought two really cute cardigans, one a nice shade of darkish blue and the other a dark grey with thin, sort of off white stripes. I can’t remember now if I got anything else, there; I don’t think I did.
Then we went to Starbucks and I bought all three of us coffee (which made me happy, I like buying people coffee when I have the money as it is a fairly inexpensive treat that makes them happy and thus makes me happy).
On the way home while driving along a fairly empty bid of road Mom saw a teddy bear caterpillar crossing the road and she stopped the car so I could go get it. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while since I haven’t found any teddy bear caterpillars at home and they always seem to be crossing the road (and getting squished by cars) in the countryish part of Gresham.
He was a very active little caterpillar and crawled all over my hands on the way home, bobbing his head along to Owl City (for this reason I named him Techno).
When we got home I put Techno in a jar (I plan to release him into the wild tomorrow, away from Gustav who’ll gladly eat him as a snack).
I spent the next forty-five minutes or so cleaning up my room and putting clothes away/sorting the clean clothes from the dirty ones since I’ll be washing clothes tonight. I don’t exactly like cleaning my room, but once I’m finished I always feel happier and satisfied with my clean floor and the lack of clutter.
Then I played around on the computer for a while, and then I took some pictures of the jar I have Techno in. From then on I haven’t done much, but I still had an enjoyable day. I just ate dinner and am now typing this out on my bed with my Dearest Tobi snoring away next to me.
Tomorrow is Sunday and I think I’ll wear one of my new cardigans to church.
And that is all.
Have a happy rest-of-Saturday!

(P.S. Sorry I haven’t written a blog in so long).

I get the feeling I should write a blog, but I’m afraid I have very little to talk about, so I’ll just touch upon a few things that have been on my mind, in no particular order and with abrupt changes between subjects.
So I got this HTML/XHTML/CSS book for dummies at the library, and I was really excited about it. Like fit to burst excited. I really want to learn how to design my own blog themes/templates. However, on getting the book I found it was not quite as… in depth, as I wanted. Apparently I know too much about HTML just by messing around with codes for the book to actually be any help to me. It shows me how to make a simple no-tables webpage, and that’s basically how it goes. It just gives you the bare minimum you need to know. I want to know the good stuff though. Now I just don’t know how to go about doing it. I need a good book for it but I sadly don’t know where to find one. However, I did learn what CSS stands for, that being Cascading Style Sheets, so there’s something.
Also, just a little update, wordpress is still being a stubborn pig and hasn’t offered any other form of payment for the custom CSS subscription other than paypal. I keep checking back though, and you’ll know once they do, because you wont be seeing this grey background anymore.
Also, I redesigned my Tumbler again and it looks way cooler. I just love messing around with codes. It somehow manages to be relaxing and a challenge. I think what I mean by relaxing is that it occupies my mind with something that’s not going to stress me out, ergo relaxing? Though it can be frustrating sometimes, but it’s so rewarding once you get it to work the way you want it to. Anyways, you should check that out.
So the past couple of days there’ve been these spiders showing up in my room. They have fairly small bodies and longish, harry legs, and let me tell ya, they’re creeping me out. I killed one a couple mornings ago and its guts are still smooshed against my wall. Ever since then I keep seeing them, and I think they’re looking for revenge. The first night I’m pretty sure they tried eating me while I was in bed sleeping, but as that didn’t work they’re now trying to scare me witless. Once I go raving mad with spider related conspiracy theories they’ll be satisfied in their revenge, hopefully.
Oi, also, something rather exciting, I found a Lord of the Rings font for my computer. The file said it was for PC but I downloaded it anyways (because I’m stubborn) and it worked. SO THERE. This is for Isaac.

That is the one I have memorized.
I have more LOTR fonts but I think I like that one best for casual writing, as the others have different characters than that of the english language.
Also, I came across this little snippit on Wikipedia the other day and I remembered it from the book as being a part that I really liked. I can’t be bothered to go searching for it in the book to find out how accurate it is (it is Wikipedia after all) but here it is as I found it.

I’d like to memorize it too.
Anyways, I don’t think I have anything more to say. I’m surprised I managed to write as much as I have, honestly.
Happy Monday to you!
